SpaceWorks Commercial Announces the Addition of Mr. Jeff Denis to its Staff as a Space Ventures Analyst

Washington, D.C., July 13, 2011 — SpaceWorks Commercial, a division of SpaceWorks Enterprises, Inc. (SEI), announces the addition of Mr. Jeff Denis to its staff. Mr. Denis will assume the role of Space Ventures Analyst within SpaceWorks Commercial.

Mr. Denis will be part of the SpaceWorks team that assists entrepreneurs with development of new aerospace ventures and incubates internally conceived space businesses. Mr. Denis will also contribute in supporting SpaceWorks Commercial's established domestic and international clients. Mr. Denis has a dual background in materials science and economics.

As an undergraduate and graduate student, Mr. Denis conducted research in polymers and nano-composites with the Winey Research Group in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania. He co-developed a device to adjust operating conditions of an X-ray scattering machine, allowing for in-situ measurements of X-ray scattering under different environmental conditions. The end result of such efforts was the awarding of a license to a major laboratory equipment manufacturer.

His previous experience also includes software development of an analytics engine for an interactive video web startup. He also possesses financial experience gained while working at a West Coast hedge fund, where he developed quantitative investment algorithms based on bankruptcy prediction models and forecasted future returns on investment.

"We heartily welcome Jeff to the team," said Mr. A.C. Charania, President of SpaceWorks Commercial. "Jeff's unique combination of engineering competence and business acumen from Wharton are two academic strengths he brings to the table. His entrepreneurial experience and business development skills enhance this rigorous theoretical foundation. We look forward to leveraging Jeff's capabilities to assist our clients in maturing their ideas to reality, and to assist SpaceWorks Commercial as it seeks to form new ventures itself."

Mr. Denis received a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He also received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School of Business. He graduated from the University's Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology.
