Atlanta, May 22, 2012 - SpaceWorks Enterprises, Inc. (www.sei.aero), has signed a new contract to support the Advanced Concepts Office at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL.
Under the terms of the new contract, SpaceWorks will assist the aerospace engineers in NASA's Advanced Concepts Office (ACO) with developing technical databases to support parametric analysis of future launch concepts for small payloads. SpaceWorks will support the activity with personnel from its Engineering Division in both Atlanta and Huntsville.
"We are very pleased to continue our long-standing working relationship with NASA Marshall," said Dr. John Olds, CEO of SpaceWorks Enterprises, Inc. "NASA Marshall is one of our key customers, and their core competency in space transportation and launch systems design is very complementary to our skills at SpaceWorks. There is a growing demand to launch small payloads to orbit, and a number of new rocket concepts are starting to emerge to meet this need. Our support will help NASA with the job of providing strategic assessment of these new launchers."
