- Academic License Program

This Software is for academic-use only for current students, teachers, professors, and academic professionals. Licenses are subject to renewal every semester or every four (4) months with proof of academic affiliation. This Program allows free-of-cost access to the Software and documentation to be used in an academic environment. Use in research or by a commercial or government institution without prior written consent of SpaceWorks Engineering will be taken as abuse of the program and the Software, documentation, and any unauthorized work involving said Software will be confiscated by SpaceWorks Engineering.

- Media Access Control (MAC) Address

A Media Access Control address (MAC address) is a unique identifier used to encode the manufacturer’s registered identification number on computers. We use your computer’s MAC address as part of our licensing system, so you will be required to provide it to us in order for us to generate your license file for the product you buy.

* Locate Your MAC Address *

For Windows:
- Click ‘Start’
- Click ‘Run’
- Type in “cmd” and “Enter”
- Type in “ipconfig/all”
- The MAC address is a list of numbers and letters named ‘Physical Address’

For Macintosh:
- Click the Apple in the upper left-hand corner
- Click ‘About This Mac’ and click on ‘More Info...’
- Scroll to ‘Network’ and click on ‘Built-in Ethernet’ or ‘Ethernet’
- Scroll down to MAC address
# Be sure to record device name ‘en0’ because this is your primary Ethernet.

- Software License Terms and Conditions

As stated under the Media Access Control (MAC) Address section, we require the MAC address of the computer on which you will be running the software as a part of our licensing system. SpaceWorks Software is committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information you provide us with, including your MAC address, will be kept confidential and will not be distributed or shared with any third parties.

In the event that your computer is lost or stolen, or if you decide to upgrade or replace it, we will issue a new license file for your replacement computer. Should this situation arise, please contact us, and we will gladly issue a new license file with a new MAC address.
