NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT

Academic License Program (ALP) Update

Atlanta, November 11, 2009 — SpaceWorks Software, a Division of SpaceWorks Engineering, Inc. (SEI), is proud of the initial success of our Academic License Program (ALP) which provides FREE academic licenses for our popular REDTOP-Lite and Bullseye software products to qualifying students and educators.

Since its inception in June, the ALP is already being utilized at over 20 different schools and universities in four different countries around the world. The ALP is designed to support and encourage future aerospace engineers and their mentors, and reflects SEI’s commitment to strengthening aerospace education in colleges and high schools. We look forward to the continued success and growth of this program.

Both Software products operate under a variety of Windows-based operating systems. REDTOP-Lite is a unique analysis tool for quick and accurate prediction of liquid propellant rocket engine performance. By providing only a few top-level engine parameters such as throat area, chamber pressure, area ratio, and mixture ratio, users can predict engine thrust, specific impulse, and nozzle geometry data in a matter of seconds.

Bullseye quickly analyzes high-thrust interplanetary transfer trajectories for a wide range of potential missions. Bullseye allows deep space designers to quickly simulate candidate transfer trajectories and round-trip missions over a large range of mission opportunities using accurate ephemeris data. Users can choose to enforce various trajectory constraints, including C3 limits, time-of-flight values, and maximum arrival velocities, to quickly find launch windows that meet all requirements of a given mission.
